Diff Question

Reading through the Description, it said it will fit Skyline and Pintara, is this correct ?

yea mate will fit in there (r31 skyline/pinni). its a pretty damn low ratio tho...

Huh???????

The higher the numbers the lower the ratio, not other way around.

eg. 3.9:1 is lower than 3.08:1

And the R31 has a live axle where your 240K has IRS.

So I take it the diff is different inside, (crown and pinion), the reason I ask, is I have a 3.08 sitting in my shed out of my old XK Falcon, and yes I know a Falcon is a Ford, and not a Holden, but I modified a EH diff to fit it, the old 3.55 was way to low with 13 inch wheels,

3.55 higher reving, lower top speed, but more pick up

3.08 lower reving, higher speed, slower pick up (not really, toyota steel 5 speed, 250 xflow, 13inch wheels)

yea i meant like that. less torque the lower the number. no need 2 get technical
