Tomei_33
why dont u just buy octane booster? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/208830-102-octane/#findComment-3694875 Share on other sites
Go 33
why dont u just buy octane booster? +1 even if WA got higher octane fuel, there would be such a low demand for it, it would be taken off the market just as quick as it arrived. That, plus the fact you would be paying through the roof for a tank, would see the already small market dry up very quickly ps: lol @ Tomei_32 sig....hahaha Edited March 4, 2008 by Go 33 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/208830-102-octane/#findComment-3695018 Share on other sites
Levi_
why dont u just buy octane booster? Octane booster doesn't really do all that much, in addition to it being another bunch of crap to add to already average fuel. Octane boosted fuel will never be as good or as clean as true high octane fuel. dan_the_man
would you really bother spending the money on 102 octane for a daily driver? it wouldnt be worth it for street use... what are u going to do speed up to 60 a little quicker? It would be good for use on the track. However, it wouldnt be practical for normal use. awill
4.10 a litre lol Thats what we pay for ultimate anyway isnt it????? 14c a litre extra is such a rip off its bullshit! Does the cost of that little extra refining go up each week above the crude oil price?? I doubt it. Rip off merchants! Thants why monopolys suck, but i supose a duopoly isnt going to be any better they will just fix the prices, thats why an independent 98 would be good. Just a shame we live in a lil country town with 1 refinery. Sigem
avgas is good and it can come in non leaded form, not sure if the WA refinery pumps that stuff yet as aircraft engine designers still mostly go for the leaded fuels. also should be easy to source legally here in wa Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/208830-102-octane/#findComment-3709342 Share on other sites
