Vicdrift Practice Day

Hey all,

The next event on the Vicdrift calender was ment to be a comp but due to our calender being all stuffed up from calder priceing pushing the venue out of our calender.

March 16th at winton raceway is probably going to be run as a normal vicdrift practice style day with the comp held in the afternoon.

who's coming?

The first drift event at winton this year and its set to go off!

I shall have solid details about the event tomorrow night and i'll post any updates in here.

K people I've got the official word, we all went round for C-Spec bolg and meeting. We have decided that this next event, the 16/03/2008 will be run as a practice day.

Changes have also been made to the general running of each event this year. Practice/comp days will be run, the idea being that each event noted will be practice in the morning, qualifying in the afternoon for street & Pro classes and then points based comps in the afternoon. the top 16 will be seeded and placed in order of rank to go head to head in this year's Drift Attack!

Whether of not i will be there is going to be dependent of the weather. I have a HCR32 with stock cooling system and my water temp was reaching 94 today (36 degrees) with a bit of light thrashing. So dont really wanna cook my 20 at the track.

hey guys i'd love to get into drifting but havn't started yet and wana come down to one of the days but i don't wana be out on track and spinning out all the time with everyone else on track.. better to just get some home practise?

There is a beginners section at most drift days where you can spin as much as you want. Also calder park hold beginner days.
