How do I find out the boot capacity of my R34 GTT??

I've tried some online searches (ie: google).. But to no avail...

I've got a bet on with my dad whether my boot is bigger or the family car's (E46) 320i boot is bigger...

see how much water you can fill it with. who's ramon btw? sorry to be unhelpful

lol just got back from gym when I wrote that, I had no blood in my brain at the time..

If I filled my boot with water wouldn't all my carpet rot??

Also, the bloody thing would leak... Surely there are specs on it somewhere...

lol i just got back from there too. hence why the title confused me so. im not serious bout the water.

fill each boot with jelly beans- count jelly beans and multiply the individual bean volume by the total amount :ninja:

ah but you underestimate due to space between the beans.

try to find a workshop manual man. best place to look 4 specs

Woohoooo...I got it!

Sedan is 423L and coupes are 316L

Found answer HERE

YOU get jelly beans now! :):)

{Edit} Now to find the boot capacity of an E46 BMW 320i...

Umm, if you got a tape measure and measured it you could do BxHxD to calculate volume...but that doesn't account for the irregular shape...

I'd just accept defeat.

you could do the basic (lxbxh) + simpsons rule for flat area then use the (1/2 base x l x h) to make it into a triangular prism for volume then add together dunno how accurate it would be but it would be better then just lxbxh
