That EMF thing is not real.

The producer talked about it in 2F2F DVD's special feature that the thing does not exist yet, although people that watched the movie believe it does.

Even if the cops will use such thing, it would be in a different form, it will not be in a form of a speargun due to potentially causing lethal injuries to vehicle occupant...
