Eoi: R32/r33 Gts-t Front Brake Upgrade Group Buy

Recommended Posts

Hi guys...

In addition to the RDA rotors group buy that I have going on here, I'm wondering how many of you are interested to have your front standard brakes upgraded from:

R33 Gts-t 296mm

R32 Gts-t 280mm

To:

R33 GT-R 324mm

The upgrade will be using a pair of RDA front slotted or RDA front grooved & dimpled rotors for R33 GT-R

PLUS

a billet adapter so that you can use your standard stock calipers with the new rotors.

At the moment there is no plan to upgrade the rear ones as both R32/R33 Gtst will have 297mm from factory

and this IMHO should be enough for light, occassional club track day.

If we can get like at least 10 people of each R32 & R33 owners, maybe I can get the package price somewhere

under $800 delivered for sloted rotors or under $1000 for grooved & dimpled package.

So let me know and if I see enough interest I'll organise this brake upgrade group buy ASAP...

Hi

I tried to get a similar group buy going last year but couldn't generate enough interest - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Br...l=braKE+upgrade . Good luck, hope yours goes better than mine

For what its worth, I ended up buying the kit anyway - although I didn't run the car on the track with the standard brake setup, the new setup was awesome - no brake fade even after continual hard laps, and awesome stopping power all the time.

Oh and you've also got fatz undercutting you at the moment in another thread too... :)

Well I've worked out with RDA 324mm slotted rotors it would be +/- $660 for R33 Gts-t to GTR conversion kit,

or $580 for R32 Gts-t to GTR conversion kit... all prices delivered.

That is if i can get 10 people each...

I would imagine it would be using the R33 upgrade, however I am not 100% sure if the original mounting point of R32 GTR is the same with R33 Gtst despite the rotor sizes are the same 296mm but the hub height is different between 7926S & 7693S, and therefore the position of the caliper would be different, and the caliper itself might be different as well...

Anyhow since the lack of interest to go for larger size rotors, I might just cancel this idea, as people prefer a bolt on upgrade in the other oem replacement rotors group buy which has been successful since 2006!
