Noticed the other day when i was playing around with monitor settings on my SAFCII that at idle, it is reading 10-15 on the knock sensor, but as soon as i give it any throttle, it goes back to zero.

Should i be worried about this?

Cheers,

If the SAF uses the same sensitivity ratio as PFC, i would say, don't worry.

Even if it doesn't, the fact it gets quieter as revs rise, makes it even less important

If interested, borrow some "Det cans" from a tuner, or good mechanic.

If not, use the ole "long screw driver to the ear" on different points in the engine bay - You'd be surprised by the amount of noise generated by diff parts of the system. Theres a chip or multi staggered spectrum analyzer built into OE ECU, PFC and other AM products like the Knock Link thats job is to isolate proper chamber det from other noises.
