Have To Rev Engine To Start Up?

hey guys just wondering why my 32 needs to get some gas to start up? the fuel pump primes up and then when i start it turns over to the point where its about to start but then jsut conks out. the only way to start it is to give it abit of gas as it turns over and then after that everything is fine. i need the car tuned i know that but just wondering if it could be anything else like fuel pump/filter or anything?

anyone had the same problem? is it because its in need of a tune. the car is runing super rich but dunno if thats the problem for starting the car up? any suggestions at what to look at/change and help would be awesome. thanks

forgot to mention that my car also conks out when i boot it hardcore and then put the clutch in untill the revs go down and then conks out. kinda annoying too. what you guys think?

Does it only do that for a cold start?

yeh got a greddy emanage blue and it happens all the time no matter if its cold start or on a 35 degree day and i've just been driving for an hour in traffic.

no one with any information? and forgot to add that the conking out when revs go down happens alot more when engine is real hot.

Mine does the same with stock computer. Its a common problem and is not really that bad. Your other problem maybe due to an atmo bov if youve got one, i also had that problem with one

cut open your afm.

the connector on the left most as you look into the afm box is loose or disconnected. That is your air signal to the ecu. Get that soldered up.

got the same problem 25 in a 32 standard ecu

might check out my afm

funny no one in that thread says anything about car not starting without throttle problems being fixed?

It actually says in the owners manual for a r32, for you to hold the accelerator at around 50% while starting the car on cold start.
