Whats with R31's, guy at work here as a mate who's one got stolen. Rapped it and damaged the motor... least he got it back though.

I actually got stopped on the Parkway about a year ago by a cop who wanted to check that I was the owner of my car, and he explained that he pulled me over specifically because it was an R31 and that there had been heaps stolen in the months prior. Seems they had actually been told to be on the lookout for them.

I think its because R31's have a pretty simple locking mechanism, they're really easy to break into with a coat hanger unles they have central locking installed.

I remember breaking into my old one many times
