Need Help-door Light Staying On

one day i opened my door and the light had come on as it usually does but when i closed the door the light stayed on idicating that a door was opened. has this happened to anyone? and how was it rectified? does the rear boot work in conjunction with the doors? where do i start checking? HELP!!!

well with my gtr the interior light doesnt go off until the car is locked or the car is started

Maybe thats just the alarm I have or a feature of the GTR?

i figured out that the boot light stays on so it may be that, ive tested the wires and get iractic readings. i think it may be due to the alarm

check the sensor on the door.. ive seen them stuff up before

ive checked the door sensors, got a feeling its from the boot. can anyone tell me how the boot switch works? is it on the catch?

I've got same problem... Where is the boot switch?! I cant find mine....
