Spark Plug Or Fuel Prob?

i did a compression test last nite, and wen i was putting my sparkplugs bak in i dropped 1, decided to put it back in then fired up the car, it was very low on petrol (warning light), so i tried to get to a servo, but took a while to get there, (traffic and shit), and the car developed a slght miss only on idle, i didn't notice whether i had been there since i started it, was in a rush, i thought it must have been the fuel pump sucking air instead of fuel, so i filled up at the servo but the miss is still there, now my question is could it have been the dropped plug or is it a fuel related issue ie. sucked up sum shit when i almost ran out and is clogging the filter? any help i would appreciate! thanx

My bet is on spark plug mate. In any event its the cheaper part, so check and replace that if necessary. If thats not the problem check the filter. Not expensive parts or hard to DIY.

I also bet it would be the spark plug you dropped that is causing your misfire.

Prolly closed up the plug gap or cracked the porselian.
