I had to have a second look as I thought No way...The NSX must be a small scale replica model or something....But no its the real deal Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/209793-gtr-vs-nsx/#findComment-3708582 Share on other sites
hungry6
I'm waiting for hardcore GTR ppls to defend it. I have always said, and ask? does it need those sort of acreage...... Prolly get flame for this. but those fotos just made me laughs. Just remember I am a hardcore skyline fans, but the latest incarnation have got me lost for words... think Californification... Bumblebee
its amazing how a car that is so much larger and much heavier can outhandle so many other smaller cars like the nsx... its insane Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/209793-gtr-vs-nsx/#findComment-3708647 Share on other sites

Sarumatix
Umm last time I was standing next to an NSX I remember thinking how small they are... Those pictures more brought home how far ahead the nissan is in terms of design than the NSX, gosh it's looking dated already. I suppose some may see that in a good way. At the Melb Motorshow I had a good gawk at the GTR, it didn't look enormous. Although it gives the impression of being very very wide . Spunky Munky
Have to say, the new R35 GTR has not grown on me... saw it finally at the Melbourne Motor Show and it really didn't do it for me one bit. To me, the R33 and R34 GTR looks best. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/209793-gtr-vs-nsx/#findComment-3708891 Share on other sites
Owgasm
mmm.... IMO i dont think it even looks that big. I've seen a NSX before. But for some reason, i don't see the GT-R being much larger, but beside a R34, the 35 is huge. :S both look good though. NISMO
good pic sewid, shows the modern car sizing! Exactly, I've parked the V35 next to an R33 a few times and the size difference looks huge. It's the way the modern cars are going I guess. At the end of the day though, personally I think it gives the car more road presence and with the performance the R35 is putting out, who cares how big it is. Look at the size of most supercars. They need a lane and a half when driving. The only difference is the R35 is taller. Marlin
good pic sewid, shows the modern car sizing! Well said, size up an original evo to the evo X, or fot that matter, a first gen wrx to the latest abomination (I'm not doubting either's speed btw) Nothing changes the fact that for better or worse, modern cars are getting bigger and heavier. Blame safety requirements, pedestrian impact laws etc... Kinda wierd in this "enviromentally aware" age that cars are heading this way, but I think we have to live it up now, 'cause the writing is on the wall.......... Yo-Yo
It was designed from the outset to be an internationally sold car, that includes one of their largest markets the good 'ol USofA(ssholes) (I can say that, I used to live there) I think Nissan decided to make *some* provisions for people who aren't japanese. They can only gripe about it's size and looks because it will absolutely demolish their lesser cars. BTW: The new STi looks like ass Edited March 11, 2008 by Yo-Yo Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/209793-gtr-vs-nsx/#findComment-3712006 Share on other sites
