I bought some wheels and im in need of some spacers for the front two wheels. However my old man reckons that you can be defected for having spacers(in QLD), is this true and also where are some good places to get some spacers from.

Yeh, spacers are illegal, although these days, what isnt?

spray them to look the same colour as your rims.... also make sure you still have a good 10mm thread

Pretty sure spacers are illegal in all states.

When looking for spacers, try to get hub centric spacers. Puts less strain on your wheel studs, but I guess that really depends on how wide the spacers are going to be.
