I've been purchasing parts of Nengun for a while now. Their service is always very very slow. I don't think they actually stock their items in a 'warehouse'. I think they actually purchase it from elsewhere when they received your order then repost it as THEIR item.

this is correct, nengun don't hold stock, they even say this on their website

so when you order something, they place and order with a supplier for the product

my item was marked as "posted" on march 6th and ive only just got the tracking data now

so there could be a delay with the nengun posting mechanism or could be some delay in the jap mail service

but ive got tracking #'s now so its OK

i placed the order for the apexi solenoid in december 30th and ive got tracking # march 14th

but their site is plastered with big warnings and notices re: delays with apexi items, as they have slowed down production

which is OK so that would explain the big part delivery delay

  • 2 weeks later...

i brought over 2x gt2835pro kit for r33 and r34 for no more than $150 via container extra from nengun price :D

I can always ems like nengun too but cost $~300 more. the good thing is I reply email AND take care off all the headache :P

So if you can find some decent local trader/s then it worth paying little more for a peace of mind :D

ems number wont work str8 away... just relax and your shit'll turn up :D

just prey customs dont have it...

pretty sure within 1 day tracking number will work. As soon as someone scan the BC it will be in the tracking system....

a lot of people are saying they have ordered parts and never had a problem. i was the same for my first 6 or 7 orders.....all went pretty smoothly. this last order for my rims has jerked me around that much that i'll never deal with them again. i imagine if you guys had your wheels delayed for the best part of 5 months - you'd be pretty annoyed too.

i had excuses like, "the supplier skipped town" to "they're leaving in the next shipment" which turned out to be a flat out lie. but the best one was "the paint is drying on the rims, it takes some time". if they hired someone with some communication skills and a bit of sympathy for their customers, maybe i would reconsider using them.

what to see all the delay messages i got.....

Your order has been shipped, please login to the website and view the order in 'My Orders' for tracking information.

Please note, tracking information will not be available until the order has left Japan, expect this to take a couple of days.

We are very sorry for the delay, one or some of your parts are on backorder with our suppliers. Due to the specialized nature of many parts, these parts are often made to order. If you have any concerns regarding payment or Paypal please ensure you contact us first via email to [email protected].

Thankyou, your payment has been received, we are now processing your order.

You will be issued with your EMS tracking number, just before the parts are sent. EMS tracking is only activated once the parts are in the air, therefore it is confusing and causes unnecessary concern should the EMS number be issued earlier.

Your order has been confirmed and a shipment estimate provided. Your payment is required to continue processing of the order. The provided shipment estimate is valid for 2 working days after order confirmation.

Occassionally, there are delays due to circumstances out of our control, we will contact you should any unexpected delay occur. A number of products are made only by request and will take longer to supply. Likewise, Japan has a number of festivals and holidays in which suppliers are unavailable.

At times, especially if this is your first experience ordering internationally, you may be overly concerned regarding the status of your order. Please be assurred that there are physical people behind the scenes processing your orders and answering your enquiries. Nengun Performance has been operating for over 5 years and we here for the long-term.

We can promise you this, you will always receive your parts. ALWAYS!

i love the last comment.....nissan had time to bring out a new gtr in the time it took for me to receive my rims

yeah same thing happened with me... as soon as it gets in aus the tracking number should work.. it usually takes ages for it to leave japan cos they have to get the parts in themselves. sometimes they dont end up having the part and when ya get ya refund u loose cash through transactions and fees...

Closed.

There have been MULTIPLE threads discussing Nengun and their level of customer service and lead times for delivery.

It is well known that they DO NOT STOCK ANY ITEMS. When you submit an order on the web, they order it in. They are at the mercy of the tuning houses as to when the parts arrive and subsequently leave Japan destined for your front door.

I have put in multiple orders in the past 3 months (20+ different parts), and the parts ALWAYS.......... ALWAYS arrive. Some parts are quick to ship, some are very, very slow.

Once more for the impaired: It is out of Nengun's hands, as they don't keep stock (hence the lower prices). When they get it, you'll get it a few days later. Just be patient, or order from someone who keeps the parts in stock.
