Bling bling, eg. west coast custom style, pimp my car and the like.

That stuff just looks absolute crap and really only suits fat ased american execs trying to be gangsters, oh and the ladies.

hot tip, leave the bling to the ladies :domokun:

And Skylines are not made to be "pretty". There body shape to me (and im sure lots of people will agree) is best suited for a tough "race" look.

Luke.

of course they are made to be pretty :domokun:

as for the GTR wing on NON gtrs, maybe some people do need the downforce and all the rest of the wings are just plain useless

Chromes makes skyline look ugly

I'd like to say full beige leather interior makes the car ugly but deep down I think it's comfy.

BN bodykits on whatever skyline, genuine or otherwise.

Veilside bodykit ......(as above)

stock wheels make the car look ugly

Cars dumped on its ass looks like shit

Cars with strange bodykits that don't compliment the natural body line makes the car look ugly

Shopping lists----urgh

Wide kit with wrong offset wheels.

It's all about the individual preference..........and i do say, I've seen a few nicely put together cars that even though it's not to my taste, you've got to give them credit for having the skills to have it all nicely done.

and yes, sooner or later it will turn to shit fight....it only takes one tough guy (loser)

This will turn into a bitch fight lol

EXACTLY! :P whats the point of posting this thread?! :D all your gona get is people bitching about how this and that looks shit.

but to add my 2c...chromes on a skyline!!! disgusting they just do not suit them at all :(

This is clearly about individual preference, no one can be just"mainstream" and go for the race look. Every one has their own opinions and tastes, this is what makes us individuals, the thing i dont get is why you get looked down upon if you do have chromes? So what .. the bloke loves his bling .. in his eyes he has bought rims for his car that HE thinks looks nice. Im not saying they are really friggin' good, but then coming onto the forums and posting it up, then getting flamed to the shithouse makes the driver feel a lil' "unwanted" and makes them feel like an outsider.

So whatever the mod, a skyline is a skyline. Whoever has their own opinion on what it SHOULD look like, keep it as an opinion and not a generalisation of what it should be.

I might just be 17, but i just wanted to get my point across.

One of my opinions is, a god damn monster tacho sitting in the wrong position with multi coloured backgrounds on a skyline would look really eww in my opinion.

I like my wing... I don't like the duck wing on most skylines, it takes away from the mean look they are meant to have...

I'm also sick of everyone doing the exact same fucking thing... BE AN INDIVIDUAL! All I see is GTR wings and Duck wings... I literally don't know ANYONE else who has my wing... I also get a lot of compliments for it... just some people are too afraid to speak their unique opinion fearing persecution...

That being said... ANY monster tacho unless you're running 10s or less

Chrome rims that look like mirrors or dinner plates...

Most other things, used in moderation, look good...

For the record I didnt create this thread to start a fight as has been suggested by a few so far :D I saw it on another forum and after 6 pages or so not even a hint of a problem :)Link for Reference

Anywho carry on...

the sounds that come our of it ie the persons music tastes....

- being dirty

- having a cracked front bar or an unpainted kit

- old stickers that are faded or cracked

- brake dust buildup

- 215 or less tyres

- being keyed

- a completely stock car

- stock rims

- cheap nasty guages

- actually cheap nasty anything

& P plates....

I guess there a fine line between ugly nad DIFFERENT, i prefer cars that try and be alittle different. (within reason of course!)

But as above mentioned, GTR and Duck winds are the go! i mean thats it so i like to see something a bit different hanging on the back... if my car wasnt a GTR the wing would have gone ages ago!!

And i hate huge chrome rims on skylines, cos for me skylines are meant to be fast, and look fast... not have the "sex spec" look

this one that's near my g/f's old work.... so GHEY i needed photograpic evidence!

basically everything on this car... the only thing it needs is full face chrome dinnerplates

    • Structured text and other high level PLC programing languages are not allowable in Functional Safety. They are very difficult to audit. My PLC stuff is almost exclusively oriented towards Burner Management Systems which are a particularly pernicious form of Safety Instrumented System, when implemented in an SPLC. Even the part of the code written to work in the non-safety logic part of the PLC, like with a Siemens S7-1500 series, still needs to be treated as if it was safety code, with access restrictions, code fingreprints and the like. And Allen Bradley can go EABODs. They ae full of shit. They have this whole lie going on where they say if you use a ControlLogix controller and its IO, and then just duplicate the IOs (ie, run in series or parallel depending on type, to try to make it "fail safe") and "use these programming styles and place these restrictions on what you do" that you can achieve SIL2. What a load of crap. They just get away with it because no-one in the US seems to understand the first thing about Functional Safety and carries on as if all they have to do is buy only SIL2 rated equipment and hey presto, it's a SIL2 system. Idiots. /rant
    • If you're really considering leaving it, a great question to ask is, is the magnet going to stick to the sump? The answer to the above is the same answer towards if I'd have any level of comfort leaving it... Personally, based on the cost of a motor if the magnet were to cause damage, I'd be fishing it out either way. Use the methods in here. It fit in through the plug hole, it'll come out.   PS, get a small actuatable claw for a bore scope. OR if you know a vet, they have really cool controllable scopes with hooks on the end. Supposedly they're like playing a video game. Ask if they can acquire you one of their scopes... Engine oil after all is just a different type of lube right? Will only make it easier on the next dog or cat...
    • All other (Boolean) logic functions though, are just built on those blocks above. Which does give you a lot of functionality in logic. It is basing that on using thresholds with analogue signals like GTS alluded to.   Not having things like timers will make it less useful for some of the ramp up logic you'd want, and again, on Haltecs capacity specifically, I'm not across anymore what you can / can't do with different tables.   I'm assuming, with your logic you want to implement, not only do you want your timing safeties, you're wanting to be able to derive the duty cycle for your solenoid, to maintain I'm assuming 175PSi? Or are you using a standalone WMI controller to maintain the DC correct, and you just want the Haltech working out which fuelling maps you should be on?
    • It doesn't seem to follow revs. Oddly it seems to follow TPS a little bit from what I can see, but with some delay a bit. IE end of the graph, when he lets off throttle fully, pressure drops a lot, then slowly builds back up, but rpm is on a nice cruisey drop off. I do agree though, it seems very electrically.
