That blue 33 is seriously the ugliest skyline i have ever seen in my life, i dare someone to try and find a worst looking skyline, I DARE YOU! The bonnet is hideous, the front gaurds look like ass, the graphics are a joke, i bet $10 it has neons under it, its got no tint with a gay looking interior (probably has down lights), mirrors are crap cheapo ebay specials, ugly tail lights, rear bar with crap vents and last but not least, its a non turbo with 2 GTR badges FFS!!!

Find a worst looking skyline than that blue one

Seriously that thing has just pissed me off that some people think shit like that looks good, i know people have different tastes but i reckon if i asked 100 people if they liked that car 99 would say they would rather burn their eyes out then look at it, the other 1 person would be the owner probably touching a little boy in the back seat saying "Hey i like to be different, don't judge me". F***ing hell!

shitty offset wheels

and/or

shitty offset wheels + crappy bodykit.

Was going to say shitty offset chrome wheels, but then i remembered seeing Work VS-KFs in sumthing like 19x11-10 offset (ridiculous) which have been chromed (or maybe polished to the balls)...and let me tell you, on a black car it looked hot !

LMAO!!!!

Presenting my ugly modification paradox:

When people see ugly mods on a car they stare at it filling the driver's head with thoughts that people are admiring the car when they are actually poking fun at it or being caught in a state of awe at how ridiculous something on it is. This encourages the driver to believe that not only have they designed their modifications well, but they should continue doing so to their hearts content. Hence one little bad modificaton turns into something like that blue Skyline up there^

Then we have the "I mod my car for myself and not other people, so I'll ignore the consensus against it" paradox. My ASS you do. These are the same people who constantly check to see if other people are looking. If it was for your own good you'd keep the thing at home where only you can see it and drive a Corona as a daily. Or you'd have pictures of the exterior of your car plastered all over the interior so you can check it out. People who only modify the car for themselves modify their interiors.

F*CK ME !!...that is hands down THE UGLIEST thing i have ever laid eyes on...f*ck i laugh when i see wankers driving cars like this , i just cant believe people actually think that sh1t is cool.

rarely does one thing make a car look bad. ive seen the japs pull of just about every mod thinkable with style. simply by incorporating it in the whole style of the car.

most australians lack this ability, we find mods we think are pretty, and we stick them on our car, not thinking about their place in the style of the whole car.

- 215 or less tyres

- a completely stock car

- stock rims

Disagree. I'd rather look at a stocker than some try hard car that has a shit ugly body kit and gay rims. Some of these people pay good money to make their cars look worse than a stocker.

It's almost as if they'd rather have their car look shit with any old aftermarket shit than have a stocker, personally I wouldn't be seen dead in half the kitted up, chrome wheeled pieces of shit!

at least the cars posted so far have been genuine skylines....what makes a skyline ugly?.....a honda trying to be a skyline..............

---------------VTEC-Yo!-------------------

These V tec's look meannnnnnnn LOL... they are like a smaller version looking of skyline..

And btw if you want to see ugly skyline go to any chinese area.. fkn ricer riced it up so badly you can't even tell what the fk it looks like..

Someone bought me a poster for some unknown reason with this r33 on it click here I almost spewed than had instant thoughts of selling my car just because it is of the same breed.

It's depressing that everyone stereotypes skylines as these types of cars.

+1

That there is a classic example of how someone spent considerable amounts of money to fk their car up.....

    • Out here E90s are the cheapest way into a sporty-ish car because everyone knows just how expensive the repairs can get. 8-10k USD for an automatic 335i.
    • Noted. Have noticed BMW are more 'high maintenance' for sure. They've attracted my attention as I think the used car prices seem reasonable vs other options, and the extra quality overall vs a commodore / camry / corolla or similar of the same vintage is appealing, especially the interior, and they are more on the sporty side whereas the others mentioned can be more cruising or economical A-to-B only.
    • Haha yeah I know, this is SAU after all, why are we talking about BMW's of all things!? I hear you on the 'don't have to worry about it' side of things. Having been fortunate enough to be have been able to buy a brand new motorbike or two...never really enjoyed them as much as I'd have liked as you worry so much about where you park it, will it get scratched, stolen, attempted theft, knocked over, etc...and yes dirty. Older less valuable bikes you can just go where you want and park it wherever and not really worry that much in comparison. And who cares if it gets dirty! Never owned a V8, and have had my eyes on VE / VF commodores for years but with their prices climbing so high, the M3 has come into focus more as prices are much closer than I've ever seen...is it a potential contender now?...of course need to factor in the S65 'maintenance' especially and like you said general M car 'tax'. One can dream anyway. But more on the reality front - did read the whole 330i thread as well and was a great read too, both threads enlightening as I've never even driven one of these cars! I do recall 330i didn't seem to have the same amount of issues for almost the same car (turbos and related differences notwithstanding)...perhaps down to getting it earlier in it's life so looked after better than the 335i? Perhaps so as your 130i has been good and quite similar, so finding a car that's been looked after well is the especially-crucial-BMW-first-step.
    • Nice. Dont worry about the time of not running. My current skyline hasn't run since I bought it. About 8 years ago.
    • It's also worth noting that I am heavily and unconditionally biased. I've had a lot of cars including some GTRs a fair while ago. I love my BMW's now a lot. They make no sense a lot of the time and the guys on here remind me regularly that I could get something else that does what I want better and cheaper. If you're going to take on an older BMW it's definitely a commitment. If you bail on it early you'll lose money and also the ability for it to put a smile on your face. Stick with it and it just gets better.  f**k I should get into advertising.
