I thought it may have been a sorta stability control or such. Didnt even think of it being for the abs.

im still running mine in rwd mode from the sau dyno day

wanted to get some new nuts and bolts as there starting to round

Once the fuse is out.. You need to turn the car off, leave it a second and turn it back on.. then the light should come on. It sais 4WD in red near the HICAS light on the dash

hi there guys/girls just wondering on my r33 gts-4 can i change it to rwd by taking a fuse out or is it permanant 4wd.

for 33s and 34s u need to take the fuse out AND drop the front driveshafts.. 32s you only need to pull the fuse out.

vinnie you dont know? if you can get rid of that pre-load that you mentioned or would you need to replace the whole transfer case with a 32 one

cheers. fellas so its basically not worth taking the shafts out to do a few spinnies and check the drift.

hrmm thats some serious thinking there loli guess you could doesnt seem impossible yet i havnt seen it done..however i think youd have to swap atessa ecu's as the 33 one still may try sending the 5% preload.
