Too much Oversteer

Ive bought this R33. It was TEIN suspension, it handles very sharp going into the corner, but as soon as you get on the throttle it oversteers very easy, and its not because it has too much power.

Maybe its been setup for Drifting, should i soften the rear up?

Yes. Suspension setup requires a bit of playing around with so experiment with different settings front/rear to get the right balance.

you could also check your sway bars, they might have put a harder one in the back but not the frount.

skylines are quite known for oversteer neway, my non turbo has heavy understeer then just flicks the back in to oversteer. Ive just got a king spring setup! so it could just be the car

??? Wha? :confused: That does not compute....

But seriously....Check if you have adjustable swaybars. It could be the HICAS has been locked out as well.

Go softer on the rear one stage at a time if you can and try it out.

also check that you have neutral toe, or even some toe in at the rear. does wonders to stop mid corner oversteer.

play with the suspension if it is adjustable, my friend has a 1992 SR180 and he has coilovers. the thing just oversteers like nothing else! it could also be his take no prisoners driving style when he is on delivery
