How Hard To Take Out Front Calipers (r32) ?

Hi guys,

I'd like to take the whole front calipers out for sand blast and painted

anyone know how hard? any DIY ?

Easy.

There's two bolts holding the caliper on, and one bolt that the brake line attatches too.

There's only two bolts holding the calipers on. Just undo those and the brake line and off you go. Remember to take off the caliper before trying to undo the lines though. You'll see that you may have to spin the whole caliper to undo the brake lines.

so, take the calipers out first, then the brake lines right?

There's a clip holding the brake line, you can undo that, it's where the rubber brake lines meet the steel ones where you'll have trouble undoing with the calipers still on.

Hope that made some sense.

And don't forget to clamo the brake lines first and bleed them when they go back on.................sorry if that's a bit obvious- can't think of anything that spilt brake fluid is actually good for......
