We have an S13 SR20 in the shop that is runing as if a cooler pipe is off, very very rich pops and farts etc. Obviously every thing is plumbed up and we have tried 3 AFM from working cars. TPS has been swaped, all vacume hoses checked, everything we can think of. ECU shows no faults and we swaped ECU's with no change.

This has got us pretty stumped. Any one got any Idea's?

I hate to be an ass, but why are you posting this on a skyline forum?

When does it fart and pop; all the time?

If its too much fuel, and you swapped out ECU's, then something like high f.pressure, as per Ash's suggestion could be a good bet. Im guessing though, you've checked base.

Its not some kinda SR freak out mode, caused by something not plugged in? Error codes?

...a work shop...

Ha, i thought that too  I'm sure he juz has a lot of mates with tractor motors I mean SR's.

Got me stumped, so I'll do the blanket "more info" warcry :)

Last time I checked this is a site that deals with nissans, and most ppl I know stay pretty loyal to the brand they drive. As for why post on a site when we have tried pretty much everything we can think of? Well, sometimes there is someone out there that has found something that is abit out there, you dont just think of these things sometimes. Turns out that we were on the right track from the start, there was a wire that was damaged for the Airflow meter. It showed up when tacking resisance readings from plug to pin.

Problem solved.
