From you guys experiences what the max power u have seen a internal gated turbo make?

Coz i am chasing around 300rwkw with custom built 3037and was looking at getting it built with internal gated turbo, but i was adviced to go external gate with custom manifold for that type of power.

Your thoughts?

Why don't you want the external wastegate anyway? :)

As said previously, an external wastegate will give better/smoother flow at higher boost, and you'll have slightly better boost control. As it's an HKS turbo, which are more efficient at higher boost, you would definitely want an external gate for this turbo. I'd keep the 3037 the way it is, buy and external wastegate and manifold (or custom made). It will be much better in the long run. Should have no problems chasing 300rwkw with a 3037 on high boost.

cause if i go internal gate it will save me $3000 for the time being. And if i want i can always get a different exhaust housing with ext gate and new manifold later. And its a custom made garrett to the same spec of a 3037 (HKS 3037 pulled apart and being copied).

Meggala

My car will be sitting there for another 2 weeks till i get back from up north
