Blue Slip Blues

Hello all

looking at buying a GTS-T R33, but it has a ram air filter, which cannot pass a blue slip inspection apparently..!

My mechanic suggests buying a stock one, or even a wrecker's old commodore one and fitting it for the inspection, anyone know if this can be done? or what type of air box is compatible? maybe i should be looking at NSW registered vehicles, but i've driven this R33 now, and im in looooove :-)

Look in the For Sale section here and try buy an original stock intake.

Cheap and piece of p!ss to install.

I made one from bits and pieces i found at Super Cheap. Either that or buy one from the for sale section; there's heaps of them. Easy as.

Hey, thanks to all for your replies, but I got jack of the Blue-slip mechanic changing his mind every day about what was OK and what was not, and bought a NSW registered GTS-T instead..and for 2K cheaper than this ACT rego one-yay!
