Spotted at least 4-5 skylines last night at the New Moon opening day in Ballarat :action-smiley-069:

1x black r33 series 2

1x rice white and blue r33 with supra wing

1x black r32 GTR

1x black r33 series 1, stock standard

1x mottled green/pearl white r34 sedan

That accounts for almost all of the skylines in Ballarat :P

Black, stickered (Dutton stickers most notable) R35 on Barkly Street St Kilda yesterday about 6pm'ish. First public road sighting would you believe, F'n beautiful.

this is round the corner from my work and about the time I head home and I didn't see shit... I still haven't seen a bloody 35 on the road! :P

I see a million 911's everyday but no GTR's... surely there must be more people with taste out there :action-smiley-069:

Cruised alongside a really nice sounding silver 32 last night on Diamond Creek Rd, Greensborough. Gave each other 'the nod', a few kind words and a wave and a beep upon going our seperate ways. Skyline comradery never ceases to amaze me. We are a truly great breed I believe.

Oh haha really? In the mornings you go up Greensborough Road and in the evenings you go from Grimshaw Street?

Oh, well then maybe it wasn't me! I thought you meant from Greensborough road into Grimshaw st, which I occassionally do in the evenings.

Must be some more white 33s in our hood :)

Spotted: Red 33 and Balck 33 at International House in box hill, red one had sau sticker

Astroboy... i was commenting the other day that i never see unco around our area. ... i dont think i've seen you around here either!

Today saw nice clean white R34 gt-t i believe (rear skyline badge taken off), nice looking car with aftermarket spoiler, had an SAU sticker. Also had green P's, gave the thumbs up as went by the first time round VUT Footscray. Was approx between 7:00 - 7:15pm outbound from city on Dynon Rd, stayed together all the way down ballarat rd, i turned off afterwards near Sunshine.

Same time saw a tough looking white supra behind us with some insane camber! a dark coloured 180sx i believe was also behind for a while, had a chasers sticker. Thought i was on a cruise all of a sudden :) All sensible drivers.

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
