it's going to be an optomitrist / eye surgery place... funny because we (tradesman) have been told to keep it a secret, and on the plans its marked as a "gym" just incase people try and find out what its going to be.

Well that's weird because when the planning permit was up it said something along the lines of that (I thought doctors surgery but my memory aint that good) so funny that they say Gym, especially seeing as there is one across the road hahaha!

Yeah they've been going at it for a while.

Just last week they had the carpark closed off between business hours.

Should be good when they're done.. but for now I've been going to a different maccas to avoid it!

the entrance off Bell st after st georges rd has always been shit. I used to get the Familia onto 3 wheels driving up it at any speed. I wouldn't even try to get in that entrance in the GTR

9:45pm - white r33 s2 turning from king street templestowe into blackburn road - i was trying to get past the car next to you because i thought you were someone else :) - was in a rush to get to chemist before it closed so sped off :P

then about 9:55pm turning from doncaster road back into blackburn road spotted a white r34 GTR but couldn't catch you :) I was stuck turning at the oppisite lights - saw you turn off into taparoo - guessing you live very close

Spotted a shiny maroon R33 S1 GTST on Clarendon Street last night, it parked at the supermarket across the road from my car. Noisy with lots of shiny logos on it.

Spotted a midnight purple r32 gtr with gold rims and no spoiler with sau stickers on the rear quater windows. At the sparkling carwash on burwood hwy last night. There was a VIC imports mini meet going on when u rocked up I was leaving
Nah I'm pretty sure there was no lip or spoiler at all. The rims could have been bronze too. Somthing dark. Looked pretty shweeet

If they were R34 GTR rims then it could be my former GTR, just sold it the other day, it has moved to the East. :P

Although it isn't midnight purple, some random purple lol.

That carpark is expensive, the ones just outside at 1.30/h, and around the middle point of every hour, some lots do free up, so time your arrival!

of all the time i've been there, i had only lots opened up for me 2wice. so yeah, tell me' abt lots opening up. :)

it is not abt price buddy (anyway it is cheap for me.) , its about the amount of TIME i can remain parked at the spot...i can easily spend more than 12hrs at the place. 4hrs definitely not long enough for me.

    • There is a LOT of stuff that can be done, it all depends on how much time and money you want to spend on doing in.  Not all ECUs will be able to do it, and the more control you need the more time and knowledge needs to be put into making it work.  If you're willing to spend the time and money and have the right hardware and skills involved there's a lot that can be done.
    • I am impressed with all this level of adjustment. I didn't expect all this possibility
    • Correct.  In the case of the 500kw dyno plot I showed you the car actually runs two boost control solenoids for boost control and a 5psi wastegate spring.  It allows me to control how much boost pressure is applied to both sides of the wastegate valve at any point and fairly accurately control boost target as a result. I've tuned it so that it's able to target anywhere from 5psi to 25psi depending on what's needed.  The target tables I've set up in that car are Gear vs RPM, so every gear has potential for a different boost (and torque) curve.   First and second gear have quite low boost targets, third gear actually has different target boost all the way through the rpm range as it's a stock RB25 gearbox - the boost targets have been chosen to maintain a peak of 600nm (what the owner has set as the maximum torque he's happy with putting through the stock 3rd gear) but it carries that to the rev limiter.   The boost curve to achieve that is something of a ramp up, then hold, then ramp up again and the power curve looks more like a flat line haha.
    • so you can decrease or increase the boost depending on the diet as you wish?     by acting on the wastegate?
    • That's torque and power, it's all from a single run.  The boost curve is "held back" from it's peak target in the 3500rpm to 5000rpm range from memory, so it ramps hard to something like 18psi then climbs more progressively to 23psi nearer 5000rpm.   It makes the torque (and power) ramp more "natural" and less hard on parts and traction, it doesn't feel artificially held back.
