Are you the r34 that lives in that street off highbury road with the black hood? Always see it when I go for a run.

yeah I've been busy :P I live in Werribee now..

I've seen plenty of peeps round Hoppers Crossing and Geelong recently but no SAU Stix.. well except for the white.. err 34? I beeped at when going past me the other week in Werribee with SAU Stix.. you live like 2 streets away from me. There's a black 32 or 33 that lives almost directly behind me too (I forget which).

Saw some guy in a.. 33? in Drysdale the other week... can't be many of them around that area!

Spotted! 2 4 door white R34's, one parked on nepean highway outside Toyota, the other a bit further down the road outside Lexus.

Also just saw the yellow R34 cruising along nepean highway near north road, had SAU stickers!

    • I spent the entire of the long weekend going through my garage and I'm now, after 3.5yrs in this house, able to fit a car in. The garage is quite long and the back half has a high enough ceiling for a 2 post lift but it's going to just take too much space and I don't think I'd be able to get around the car if it was in the air. So, in comes the quick lift. It looks perfect. High enough to do most things, I reckon even getting a gearbox out would be doable.  Does anybody here have one? They're fairly cheap (~$3k) considering...  https://www.dtmtrading.com.au/product/quick-lift-portable-vehicle-hoist-3500-kg-worksafe-approved/ I'm also a bit of a non risk taker so I'd probably still use stands when under!
    • Well now we all see it! I did the same. Then cut it out. Then melted half of it. Then discarded it entirely. So... you're in good company.
    • I just replaced the god awful, sagging, crunchy bonnet insulation. It's something nobody but I see but it's been at me for a while.
    • yeah the south island is stunning, the wifes family is from the west coast down there so we were down there for christmas.   a high 10 would be a stretch but hilarious if it happened. fourth gear is its party gear, i don't have traction to throw more at it at lower speeds. I've found passengers don't think its that fast, i think it's because it has a digital dash so they can't see the needle move so they have no sense of speed
    • You have (externally anyway) a lot of patience!  At the very least your patience has rewarded you financially even if you decided you were over it!! I only just read your first experience of seeing the car, that would have been amazing!  Well documented too! It must be exciting knowing there's only 10 months left until you can get it on a boat and on it's way!!!???
