Orange R34 in safeways car park near Boutique an hour or so ago...blonde female driver I think? Had another R34 following it but can't remember the colour...why is my memory so shit, I haven't even been drinking.

Yesterday saw a nice Bayside Blue R34 GT Coupe with P plates (and SAU Stickers) line up next to a ford GT-P which was revving its face off.

Ford drives off like a maniac, our SAU'er drives away normally with a look on his face that simply said "dickhead" (in reference to the ford driver)

+1 young SAU'er

It was on the intersection of Blackburn road and Ferntree gully road yesterday

Was it a silver ford gtp with orange vinals?

Guess it must be you then. Saw your bayside blue r34 coming from the other side, my mate was telling me to turn around, but then saw you turning around at the round about and was 1 or 2 cars behind. i turned into princess hwy behind a black 34 on red p plates, but couldnt see you anymore.

bayside blue 34 turning from noble park to princess highway last night, tried to get close to have a look but got stuck at some lights.

I knew I recognised the little blue LED's from somewhere...

So it was you?!

I could hear you coming up.

I was going to Lygon St.

:)

It's that loud isn't it.. i hate it, but i've got no money to change it to anything else, especially now that it's damaged and its not worth shit anymore

yeah, sorry for cloth tape everywhere, mine looks to be a disgrace, my dad was commenting on how yours actually looks so much better, but he has also agreed to sponsor to get those dents out of my car..

still waiting on the quote on fixing my rear end though =(

yours still looks bloody good =(

    • First up, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a powerfc on a light or medium built car, it will run it just fine, is easy for pretty much anyone to tune, and unlike everyone else you don't have to keep a laptop under seat to see that is happening. Only real issue is that it doesn't have active knock control (not that most aftermarket ECUs have that set up properly) or engine protection for things like low oil pressure...so still keep an eye on the dash lights. I'd guess that the tune is password protected which is why you can't see the values. If the previous owner doesn't know who put the password on it and your are running standard turbo and injectors, I'd factory reset it and then get it tuned some day....any half skyline familiar tuner can work with it, and I think DVSJez is up your way and would have it sorted in a flash
    • Yup @joshuaho96 those are the same part numbers I got as well but this kit from Kudos comes up when I’m searching.  I’ve emailed them asking if the pic is accurate and hopefully they say it’s for reference only.  worst case, I’ll get it off Amayama. But I’d prefer Kudos so it doesn’t take almost a month to come 😂
    • I think there's "some" things you need the data cable to access but - if it's locked and only basic tuned, maybe, take photos of ALL the screens, then hit reset on the hand controller, then enter the same values back in? Giving you the same tune but unlocked.
    • If there's no rubber gasket you need a new cap. There should be a rubber gasket, depending on the car. If you are driving the car hard and the power steering is getting hot it will spit out of the reservoir. I have seen people tap the cap for a hose + overflow catch bottle placed somewhere that it will fit.
    • Oil pan gasket is 31397-41X04. Strainer assembly is 31728-4AX00. You can look at this yourself: https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/skyline/er34/3945-rb25det/trans/317 and https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/skyline/er34/3945-rb25det/trans/311 Checking online the actual picture of the OEM filter looks like this:
