A little bit of searching wouldn't go astray... :)

Anyway, here's a little something to get you started.

I own a N/A R33, but for the first two points that's not an issue.

Firstly, the oil level should be at the top of the little cross-hatched section...

Secondly, I regularly hit the 6800RPM limiter... I know it's a lot safer in an NA than a turbo, but if you look around you'll find plenty of evidence that 4500-5000 is nowhere near the limits of these cars.

Thirdly... well squeal from your turbo I can't help you with :(

Fourthly, I'd personally have expected a little better... again about the searching... have a look through this thread and there are a couple of stock figures... e.g. this one... It's a stock R33 GTST with a cat-back exhaust and upgraded fuel pump.. nothing else.

Howdy

So i was sitting on the crapper reading hot 4's when i found this. I thought, mmmmm, maybe this could help you. Apparently these gaskets can cause the sound you hear, maybe check it out. Sorry, this machine refuses to upload the article. Basically, the metal gasket between turbo and exhaust sometimes breaks up or disintegrates coz of agel. It then makes funny sounds at the turbo, like gas escaping at high pressure, or gentle knocking sound. Check yours out, may help you.

I am now going to upload my fist into the computers A-drive and see how it likes it!

Good day to you.
