As per how Beer Barons R35 GTR was sourced a new vehicle is bought from a dealer and it is De Registered the day it is delivered then sent straight to the docks no car with over 30 klm's will be seen as New Vehicle Low Volume under SEVS especially for the R35 GTR which means no Ex Auction cars, the vehicle is not to be driven on the roads in country of manufacture to be seen as new and it is now being strictly policed.

I know of one US origin truck the was used for various tests and had just over 300 klm's and their was an issue allowing it to be complied as a New Vehicle.

Gee's the edward lee and jspec GTr prices are not even close to each other.

Looks like Lee is putting a 45K premium on each car.

Not bad those 20 GTRs will give him an extra 900K in the bank over the jspec people.

Trust me, he'd already made heaps from people who bought cars from him. Friend paid $31,000 for a stock 98 R34 GTT from him.

If a dealer is charging the same if not close to what people think Nissan will charge and R35 GTR's are on the SEVS schedule but no one has approval yet who would be foolish to put a deposit down on a car they are trying to gain approval on, the M35 Stagea emission debacle is an example of what can happen on someone saying we will get approval.

Also the GTR you are comparing the prices to is a 3,000 klm "not a new vehicle", 7,570,000 yen FOB "try buy a new one at that price" and $5,000 for compliance "estimated" you can not even compare them.

Could you say both are dreamers...............

this lee guy the one at parra rd? If so yea he has bad business skills and ethics

edit: ok thats him them!!

Yup i agree hes a poof.. Still dont know how ppl buy cars of him!!

Man J-Spec are dreamers, the price they advertise is the starting price and the auction goes in a sec so most of the cars up there are probabley already sold. Not to mention, they dont stock any cars and dont even have a contact phone number to call. A vspec 2 for 2.5m yen haha thats bs and it will definetly cost you more, but hey if they can lure you in and then find the car for you. I dont have a problem with them although there seems to be a lot of false advertising.

R35 GTR, will cost you easily 120k+ I think complaince will be over 5k not to mention they seem to be selling between 8.2m-9.5m as obviously they are in high demand.

^^ Hey I saw that but have you ever heard of false advertising, if Jspec is reading this I have got 105,000 cash atm and will buy the car today if you can guarentee that price landed and complied with victorian registration. If you can I will come to your office with a current bank statement etc as evidence and a letter from my solictor, lets do business. Otherwise stop feeding the world bs that you can get and register an r35 gtr with 100kms for $102,000.

I challenge you Im not stirring sh!t im a genuine interested buyer at that price so im a happy customer just go through and make the sale, thats if your not lying.

lol, if they can get me a brand new R35 GTR with under 100kms (not 1000, not 10,000 but 100), landed and on the road for under $100K as they clam then I am in. whoever is selling them compliance for $5K is the most generous, benevolent sevs workshop on earth! I really can't see it happening though.

Yep, a simple out.

"We factor $5k for complaince, but hey, what do you know the actual price is $35k"

Oh and add another one to the list if they can gurantee I can have a 35 for that money.

Baron, on a side note I'm really worried that someone will get caught out just like the whole Stagea issue previously mentioned. Where is all this at? Is it a 100% given that complaince will be given?

it's never a certainty until it's done! but as far as I know at least 2 companies will have compliance for the R35 GTR. the problem with the stagea was a simple one. that car was not a world market model (the GTR is) and as such it did not comply with the relevant emissions levels for Aus (it complied with a less stringent japanese reg). So when the time came for providing evidence that it could..... it couldn't. The GTR does comply. That is not to say it's a given though. We will just have to wait.
