Quoted to keep you on your toes.

But please clarify if it will fire, or be on fire?

LOL!!

Cross your fingers it's the former, Jase! Stuie from Bezerkly is well and truly on the case and once we find my cam angle sensor and bolt two pipes into position, there's really verry little else to do.

I still don't understand corners though.

I came across this YouTube vid from USA and pretty good promo and SUPERLAP fastest growing Motorsport in USA and soon to be here if not already. EVOs seem to do the job in Japan, USA and did well here and guess in Europe also?

Dont worry about Evo's John... we need the rear wheel drive cars with some decent power out there to upset them

This will be ready for the 2009 series with around 450hp SR20 in it which will be nice with only around 750kg's... GIDDYUP!!!

bring it on Marty! but the SR's are damn heavy - I doubt you'll make your weight target.

I'll be mounting the intercooler in the new spoiler to get it out of the way of the radiator where it is now and have some sway bars to go in. depending on what tracks they use next year I might trade off a little mid-range for some more top-end power too. And with a little tweaking I can squeeze the 15*8's and 225/50s on the front as well

can not wait to have them on the track together Harry... its been a long time coming getting this car ready but i am starting to get pumped about it.

John Taylor is coming over next week to have a look at things and then taking it to his place to start getting the suspension sorted. Just working out a few details at the moment about the brakes etc but it starting to come along good.

Also getting the thing ready for paint not long after, its still sitting in bare-metal as it has been for about 6 months now. Amazingly there isnt any sign of even any surface rust. Still dont know if it is going to be black in colour or yellow... time will tell.

The weight difference between the SR and the CA although different, isnt infact that much from what i have learnt in recent weeks. We are also looking at mounting the engine as far back towards the firewall as possible as well to combat the difference. Going to pick up the fuel cell and a few other goodies this afternoon as well.

Just snap an axle on that 1/4 mile beast you're building and you'll understand corners soon enough.

And Stu wanted me to lose the power steering! No thanks!

Hi Peddler this no doubt going to be a contender. As long as it gets the power down, as it will need some flared guards and decent rubber and suspension and brakes etc, and you know.

absolutely sure!! (ahh correction s2000 engine ) :P

also still give a thousand bucks if you fit the engine above to a gtr and it goes out a the circuit and beats and RB powered gtr , becuase it would be well worth seeing!!!!!!!!

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365. I used to love doing this 20 years ago on SAU and got a bit nostalgic for a moment... 😅
    • Try fabricating something like this and install it under the pedals? Not sure if it's legal or not....
    • Even though I have some pretty good (brand) ratchet ringies, I avoid using them to break open tight bolts. A broken ratchet is very annoying.
