Yes that is correct BOZ22N

What is the chance of changing this rule. It doesn't really make sense.

Clubman should be allowed to run the tyre list supplied by CAMS for safety reasons. A super fast car without good tyres is like a super fast car with bad brakes.

DANGEROUS !!

Why don't you put a vote out to all the entrants in clubman and take the majority of votes as the basis for the rule???

well the thinking is the super fast car should be in open then. and in that case they can run any of those semis on the list...

super fast = open = semis

not so fast = club = treadwear over 100 rating

If you car is "super fast" then it should be in the Open Class.

If you are concerned with safety then you are quite free to run an "R" tyre in the Open Class.

No one is forcing you to run road tyres, it's 100% your choice.

Just a question regarding body modification in the Clubman class.

Are FRB wide guards allowed ? YES

Are FRB/Carbon doors allowed ? NO

Are Lexan/Speed glass windows allowed ? NO

    • Those brackets are known for snapping. Easy to fix the metal, and a good seat reupholsterer can fix the rest. I'd potentially get them to look at making new foam too. Even if you've got the old, it will be partly compressed / not as supportive as it should be.
    • Yep that's a superb price and ther is no way you will over capitalise on you investment.  As to the bracket, again just use the passenger side seat  bracket ( obviously reversed ) as a sample to reshape it and in this case, TIG it back together.
    • Thanks for that.... If only I could do something once and be happy with that, like some people do....
    • I had no transmission at all so I managed to find a big box manual gearbox from an R34 GTT for an insanely good price in EU. I converted it to push type which cost more than the transmission almost, with parts from Amayama! These engines are very strong and can put out decent power with a properly sized turbo. You can save on money from parts like pistons and rods, and invest those in the transmission and other parts. I suggest you join the RB20 Enthusiasts facebook group, plenty of info and almost daily posts there about 20DE/DET/Neo+T builds. (I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by mentioning third party platforms, just trying to help the buddy out)
