pushead
ronin, you mentioned legal height for the exhaust.. whats the legal height? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/21096-best-resinator-for-zorst/page/2/#findComment-450768 Share on other sites
Ronin 09
As i understand, it is not a 'legal height' for the exhaust alone, rather the law states something like "the lowest point on the underside of the vehicle must be at least 10cm from the ground"... so seeing that my exhaust diameter is so big, it is the lowest point on the car and it is (i'd guess) about 7cm off the ground. rs73
I have a 3" full system too, but looking under my car, I'm sure mine is still at least 10cm above the ground, not like yours Ronin. I haven't actually measure it, but I've seen mine before and it looks way way much higher than yours. nismoman18
mines 12 cm and my car is lowered 1.5 inch, u must have a pretty big pipe eh! im NA so only 2.5 inch pipe unlike some 5 inch pipes ive seen around on sum lines Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/21096-best-resinator-for-zorst/page/2/#findComment-451204 Share on other sites
Ronin 09
my cat back is a trust 4"... i'm pretty sure my car is stock ride height, but it MAY have lowering springs. Though i have never had any problems with the exhaust collecting speed bumps etc - only the front spoiler on driveways and it is a standard Type-M front bar! Busky2k
Ive got a fairly large Lukey 3" S/S straight thru oval muffler (too big to be a resonator) in the middle. Does an awesome job of getting rid of the droning, and it sounds hell deep with zero raspiness on my SR20DET. Worlds better than other SRs that have no resonators at all... _turtle_
does having a muffler for a resonator look a bit funny because its fairly large? also it must be hanging fairly low to the ground.
