Its not a good idea to use a jaw puller on a harmonic balancer, you may break it .

You have to use one that you screw in the balancer .

hmm stay away from 2 arm puller if you need to use that style use 3 arm

3 arm pulls it off alot squarer and also wont damage it as badly as there is an extra contact point for the force to distribute on the harmonic balancer.
