ya i used a 3 arm one... 2 DAYS AGO!

lol

Well thats good to hear, even if it means I've turned out useless... again lol

hmm stay away from 2 arm puller if you need to use that style use 3 arm
Just sayin....

How can you be a true bush/backyard mechanic if you don't have sub standard tools? :D

Besides, it worked fine on my R31... (so not all RBs are screwed, pun intended, or it was on so tight I couldn't get it off... either or) even if I dropped the pully onto the ground and chipped it real good like. Luckily on the aircon side. The aircon didn't work anyway so I removed the belt and condenser after that :)

You chipped the harmonic balancer and you re-used it with part of it missing??

Well if thats so your engine is not very well balanced now !!!

Funnily enough it ran better after I chipped it. Probably more to do with the fact I had just replaced the water pump and timing belt (without a timing light, or other special timing tool :laughing-smiley-014: ) at the same time. This was October 2005. The car is now a dark blue drift pig. Needless to say when I chipped it I wasn't like "FAAAARK I chipped it!!!". Was more like... "Wow... that sucks... meh"

Hopefully I'll be less dodgey with my current Skyline
