Did everybody leave,

Anyway Sciby about the inside of my car, the seats are all getting recovered and most of the inside, am at the moment buying up compoents for my stero, once I have them all the whole inside of the car comes out and the new one goes in with the stero. the whole boot will be done and inside insert hopefully if I can afford it recovered in leather. Tan most likelywith the orginal balck mixed in, new carpet for the floor to plus the walls being detone. I want to do it up so I might get into like Hot4s mag, the outside has some body changes,

Clear tail lights, the four cannons, to complete the ass end of the car, the side skirts are getting re firbeglassed and the front bar renforced. paint the brake calpers and then try to get the paint looking shinny. the out side is almost complete now. This car is going to cost me alot of money but it is what I want to do.

Just looking up stats for a standard GTR and it sez 0-400 metres in 14.4 for a 32. That was in Unique Cars June. I was under the impression that they went a little quicker. Still piss nervous about the drags, but then i used to chunder before rugby so if anyone sees me blow chunks on saturday don't be suprised. Should be a mad day anyway. Dan you have to run come on do it for the appressed silvia Q's in australia. Hella keen to see the two preludes too.

You reckon dev, just found out at lunch I am looking at $1500.00 for re triming the stuff I want as in the seats and the doors insert and other stuff in yellow valour that not using leather. Leather is like 2/3 the price of that again. Plus Leather get hot valour more practical. Bright yellow it is, first stage is everything but the seats and that will happen in the next month or so like $450.00 at the most.

Dude, relax. It's all good. First time out there, no one's expecting a record-breaking pass.

And those stats are never really accurate... my gts should be about to break 14s, (I hope) and you're faster than I am.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
    • LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
