Injector Installtion

i was under the impression you can get straight drop in injectors with a bolt up(or similar) plenum.

do i need a fuel rail for injectors even though im running a plazmaman plenum which is a direct bolt on?

I see no reason why you could not use after market injectors on this Plenum."provided they suit your motor".

the thing is im runnin the rb30 bottom end, but i dont think that should affect anything should it?

the injector train you use follows the fuel rail you use

so if you have a front facing nismo plenum but a HKS top feed rail, you need top feed injectors

if you have 2 litre, single cam head and a tomei side feed rail, you need side feed injectors

ie: block & plenum make no difference

the ecu you use will also play a part in this, as the impedance etc will be different

in summary - let your tuner decide

top feed rails are alot easier to work with, and look 10x better

if the plazamaman's are like the greddy's, they should have the mountin holes for both top feed and side feed rails

Stick with stock rails.....they have better mounting and supporting brackets.

less likely to cause fuel delivery problems in the future.
