R33 Power Mirror Wiring Help Plz!

Hey guys,

my mate owns an r33 and he bought one of those cheap ebay 'M3 lookalike electric mirrors' for his car and im helping him install them. The story is there are 5 wires in the stock loom that the stock mirrors connect onto and only 3 wires on the new mirrors. Question is which of the colours and which one of the new wires on the cars loom operate the actual mirror direction and link up to.

the stock loom wires are |blue|pink|yellow|purple|orange

the new mirrors come with |white|green|yellow

any help guys would be really appreciated.

test each wire with a multimetre

the 2 missing will be the ones for the fold in option. so you should be able to turn on that function and see which wires are active.

unfortunately the manuals for r33's dont include the wiring diagrams for the entire car.
