Removing Stone Shields From Front Brakes

As mentioned above, where is the best place to cut the stoneshields?

I've attached a photo of the stone shield with a line drawn where I think they should be cut - just want to confirm before I pull out the angle grinder.

yeah basically just as close to the centre as you can.

We remove them completely

Try to remove as much as possible, the hubs can hold quite a bit of heat also, so getting them cooler will prolong the pedal feel.

Yeah remove them completely. I used a sharp cold chisel along the section where it's pressed onto the hub.

Is there no easy way to take them off without cutting/cold chisel etc?

A cold chisel could potentially damage the hub assembly wouldn't it?

tin snips can cut them too. they are pretty light
