Hey all,

i've got an R33 and between 100 and 120 kmh i get a vibration through the steering wheel.

I had a wheel balance and alignment but this hasn't helped.

Is there any steering components that could be worn and causing this?

Let me know if anyone has had the same problem.

Its really annoying and i want this fixed

Cheers guys

i would think that its suspension related, i have the same problem in my 32 my front suspension bushes are worn so going to hopefully replace them soon and see if that fixes it but other than that have a look in the suspension thread or use the search function im sure you will find some help there

How were they balanced? With a cone adaptor or stud locator? Are you 100% sure the wheels are not buckled? Posiibly if its a cheap brand tyre it may have belt seperation and that will make it shake. Several things really but i doubt its suspension related, its wheels and/or tyres somehow.

Check your rotors buddy, had the same problem that a wheel alignment wouldn't fix. As soon as I replaced my rotors, all gone, turns out they were shagged

Had same prob here. Changed rotors and the problem went away. Check your wear on rotors you will spot it if it is warped slightly.

Check this thread out. Will give you some ideas. Hopefully you solve the problem quicker and cheaper than the mess I had to go through (which ended up being 'if in doubt, throw it out).
