Hey all,

i've got an R33 and between 100 and 120 kmh i get a vibration through the steering wheel.

I had a wheel balance and alignment but this hasn't helped.

Is there any steering components that could be worn and causing this?

Let me know if anyone has had the same problem.

Its really annoying and i want this fixed

Cheers guys

99% of the time speed specific vibration is caused by poor wheel balance due to only balancing the outside of the wheel, instead of both inside and outside. Check where the weights are, if they are only on the inside or outside then get a decent wheel balance. Have them check the wheels and tyres for out of round at the same time.

Cheers

Gary

I posted this in your other thread, but check this out. Will give you some ideas. Hopefully you solve the problem quicker and cheaper than the mess I had to go through (which ended up being 'if in doubt, throw it out'). SydneyKid was very helpful in helping me.

Yooooou, Shook Me aaaalll niiiight loooong.
