Hi Everyone

Just thought I'd let you know that we'll be running a skidpan day at Oran Park on Sunday 20th April.

We'll be running a morning session from 8.00 am until 12.00pm and an afternoon session from 12.30pm until 4.30pm.

Each session will be limited to 8 drivers only, so you'll get plenty of driving time.

Cost per driver is $150

The format we run to is pretty simple...

Brief classroom session (around 20 minutes) on basic skid control, skid causation, etc.

The rest of the time is spent driving practising skid control skills on the skidpan.

One car on the skidpan at a time.

Thanks for the interest Guys, sorry about the slow response I had to drive to Perth this week and just arrived back.

I left this post but didn't send an email si I am probably not on the list...It turns out that I can't make it now anyway...I am not an SAU club member anyway..(soon to be though...just waiting for reply and money to go through)

Will be very keen for the next one though....

Guys

We've had a few people give us the runaround with this so we have a few remaining spots...

Two spots left in the afternoon

Four Spots left in the morning.

Just a little update also..

The day will be conducted by John Boston who is quite a well known Advanced Driving Instructor in Sydney, some of you who may have done Advanced courses/ trackdays before will know him.

We'll have our two wheeling car up there as well so you might also get ride on two wheels..... :D

I was on the Stunt Driving course yesterday, and would just like to say that it was an AWESOME afternoon....the weather only added to the fun.

Thanks for a great afternoon - and I can't recommend this course highly enough.

Guys (and girls too), you all have to try it....they actually teach you how to get a car airborne :down:
