I'm fixing up a shorted out R32 ECU and noticed that pin 104 on the unit isn't working (Fuel pump terminal control output)

For those who might know / have hooked up aftermarket ECUs to R32s, what voltages through this wire to control the fuel pump. Is it variable?

thanks

Matt

It is variable. Basically has two settings. Lower rate at idle and then high rate when the accelerator is touch and stays like that until it hits idle again. Checkat the connections at the fuel pump as someone may have bypassed the dual pump control.

Hope that makes sense.

Doc

that makes sense - do you know what the voltages might be for the lower rate and high rate?

does it use a throttle control switch to determine when to change these voltages or crank angle sensor / rpms?

apparently the fuel pump control works fine as the guy is borrowing another ecu in the meantime... just he hooked up wires wrong when wiring the R32 RB20 into his R31 (NICS) passage and blew something resulting in fuel pump not working

thanks
