I've seen around the place that there are quite a few fishermen among us. Just wondering what sort of fishing people are into.

So, what type of fishing are you into?

Me, I'm into my lure fishing, mostly for bream but give anything a go! I also do a yearly trip down the peninsula chasing salmon and am looking to start live baiting in the port searching for that big mully :D

I used to go finishing heaps on the Yorke Peninsular and down the south east, as my family has a couple of tuna / crap boats down there.

lost interest over the past few years, just find it boring sitting around all day doing nothing especially as i can't eat it :D

The boats were really bad huh? :D

This has always been my opinion of fishing as whenever I have been out, hardly catch a thing (1 fish if im lucky) but then again, probably has something to do with the fact I was always going out with other people that had little knowledge of fishing either! LOL

3 of my closest mates arent into cars but the ++ is they all have boats and studieing marine bio! we love goin for squid, snook, the rare whiting(these days), mullet, flat head, crabs and we do the odd fish for mullaway, snapper and the occasional bronzy just so we get a chance to use the big rods. bah usually just get damn pt jackson sharks grrrrrr

best ever was down at kangaroo island when a mate and i spent the week down there. got one bronzy, the biggest flat head ive ever seen, a tone of mullet and a few various other good eating fish.

might have to organise something in the future maybe a fishing trip up to pt hughes/moonta or something

HAPPY EASTER ALL!

Well, I'm pretty crap at fishing, tho I still like to use it as an excuse to go to Moonta. I'm better at catching squiddies and dropping crab nets off the jetty  Always do take a rod or two when I go to the jetty, so I can see whats on and try n go for it. I dont bother going for the big stuff, just try to get Garfish, Whiting, Salmon Trout, Mulloway, Mullet.... dont like bream or tommies much, pita
