just to add cops dont have to show you the reading its common practice for them to do so but they dont have too

well i requested it and they didnt produce it..my solictor says they do not have to..it is more a matter of courtesy than anything..he said if it goes to court for some reason and it comes up that you asked to see the reading and it wasnt supplied the magistrate can frown on it...but it is not the law..

There is a article somewhere on this forum about legal rules, one of the mentioned rules is that police don't have to show you the radar gun/laser reading.

However, it does look bad on there behalf if they don't and you got to court, as zorb_rules has pointed out above.
