Rb25 Conversion Into R32

I was wondering if the RB25 engine loom plugs into the r32 gtst car loom(fuse box) or do i have to run the entire loom? and if so does the loom then plug into the car itself?

Is this an easy conversion?

Dunno about you loom question as I'm getting my whole Microtech LT12s wired up completely. As for your 'easy conversion' question - if you are putting a standard RB25 in it will fit perfectly with no problems at all. If you are putting on an aftermarket plenum (like my Greddy one) you have to move the master cylinder along about 1 inch. There are a couple of other fiddly bits but so far everything is coming together fine. And I'm guessing you are putting in a 25 gearbox? Well, you will have to make up/modify your gearbox crossmember as it doesn't fit and you will have to get an RB25 slave cylinder as well. Don't know about the speedo as my conversion is about 3/4 finished but I believe we have to get a Nissan Navara speedo head? There are heaps of topics on here regarding the conversion........

There were a lot of guys doing this swap a couple of years back.

Search the tutorials section for a thread by predator. It'll be the most comprehensive write up on the actual engine swap. There are a couple of good threads on the gearbox and speed sensor swap in this section if you look at page 2 or 3 i suspect.

its one of the easiest swaps around. the 25 engine loom will not plug and play tho.. but you onl;y need to wire up a few wires and your on your way.
