Gear Knob

Hi all,

Does anyone know if you can get factory gear knobs for the r33 new off nissan ? or is aftermarket the only choice?

Ive just noticed basically none of the aftermarket knobs look and good or line up with the gear boots...

You should be able to get anything off Nissan. Chances are you'll have to get it from Japan and the price they come back will knock you out cold.

Try to find out what the part number is and give Nissan a call.

Im sure you could get one close to a nissan factory item at any car store. Iv never had any probs with aftermarket gear knobs

I dont like the stock ones..

They dont mould around the hand as well as you would like them to..

Perhaps try a nice and cheap aftermarket nob first.. and if you still dont like it.. fnd a stock-o one?

I used to make exact reproduction ones that didnt wear. No one was interested in buying stock ones so I stopped making them. Basically gave them away in the end.

Got three unfinised ones from the last lot ( they need the thread bored into them ) ! Got pics some where ! The moulding process allows EXACT reproduction of the original item. Right down to the leathery crinkle finish, grooves, numbers the lot !

i use the black nismo gear knob, its good and all, but when its a hot day, i cant even change gears with it

I know someone with a cheap metal one, puts her glasses case over it so she can change gears!!

i also have a black metal nismo one

looks great and feels nice in your hand, not so great if your hands a bit sweaty though

and it left a gap between the knob and gear boot but nothing a little super glue couldnt fix

you can have my stock one if you want it, its a bit worn though..
