5-30 is recommended, i use 10-40 aswell so should be fine

hey dude...

i use 7.5/30 nissan oil in winter... and use a bit heavy oil in summer like 10/40 =) so you should be alrite

has it always been like this? when did it change?

have you checked the oil level? how many km's on the engine ?

is the oil pressure idiot light on ?

mmmm mine sometimes do this as well but the R33,R32's all have this kinda problem the gauge is pretty crap....like sometimes its lazy well mines been lazy sometimes and just scares me lol my theory is if idiot light is not on thne i won't worry

My r33 Gts-t's oil pressure gauge always sits like that when at operating temperature, its been like that since i bought it two years ago, the motor always pures like a kitten, always serviced with mobil 1 5w-50, never uses oil, i just put it down to a dodgy gauge, if you had an oil pressure problem you would most likely hear it

occasionally mine will show about the same. freaked me out at first. then i realised if i switch the car off then on again the gauge sits at 2 like it should. therefore dodgy factory gauge.

same as mine the motor has 82xxxxkm on it compression and leak down was done 2 months ago when i got it

same thing happens to mine except my oil pressure will sit at 2bar and the light will come on. i've put it down to my gauge being farked beyond belief.

only way you'll know for sure is by taking it to a workshop to check your pressures with a mechanical gauge.
