W0rp3D
they claim to filter something like 30% better than any other oil filter, i put one on but forgot to check if the old oil seal came off with the old filter, which of course it didnt, and f**ked the seal on the new one, ended up just getting a ryco one (thought maybe the pure one had a dodgy seal before i relised i had f**ked up) so no idea how good these are. Z1LLA
There is normally a chart on the shelf where these filters are which shows the equivalent Ryco part number. I work at Supercheap casually, but haven't had the chance to try one of these yet as I normally order a K&N filter in. STATUS
I only got this because they ran out of the valvoline filters and i didnt wanna get the cheap spec one lol. Cost me $16 at super cheap. valvoline ones are shite..... stick to KN or PURE one..... if you want the best go a DRIFT branded one similar to KN but has a magnet, twice the internal pleating and same high flow but better filtering. khunjeng
valvoline ones are shite.....stick to KN or PURE one..... if you want the best go a DRIFT branded one similar to KN but has a magnet, twice the internal pleating and same high flow but better filtering. internal pleating # is importat however so is its thickness, materials used, anti-drain back material and by-pass valve construction etc. OEM nissan are actually good so is K&N and mobil. All made from decent materials with quality construction and flow. I have seen valvoline filters from the HP range not seal properly with the anti-drain back with weak by pass valvues - good flow, good flow of dirty oil....
