ok, just wanted to confirm for anyone....

i was getting the wrong reading from the white loop on the ignition loom...not quite double but definalty not 15deg...

you MUST use a short ignition/spark plug lead and put this inbetewwn the coil pack and the spark plug! the difference is so big you can see the strobe is both brighter, longer duration and much slower....!!!!!!!!

not i have my base timing set properly now, we can strat to retune the car all over again!!!!

im lookin at checking my timing (im not sure its right after the new timing belt went on), u got a part number on the short lead u used??

and just to be 100% sure. what should the timing be for factory settings?? or does every1 just set theirs to 15deg
