Built-in Tv/gps Monitor

I was looking at some photos of cars and some show different things being displayed on the monitor.

e.g. http://www.nagoyamotors.com.au/upload/410_7.jpg

I suppose that means that the monitor does other things aside from being a tv/dvd/gps.

If it is converted, would it retain the other features?

it does retain those. you are looking at the fuel economy screen, there are 5-6 others there as well.
