Not sure what bhp has to do with calliper type. There are lots of other factors, like calliper condition, pad compound, rotor diameter, tyres, brake fluid, suspension, weight and most important of all, what you use the car for?

Cheers

Gary

It all depends on what you want the caliper to do for you...What is your intention for this car ? If you are going track regularly then I would suggest something bigger..But for the street, The factory calipers are underrated little buggers. I would first do a full bleed and go for a really good brake fluid first....This is a good cheap upgrade...Unfortunately it starts to get very expensive once you start going further..Bigger slotted rotors would be the next upgrade..leave calipers till last, maybe an upgraded pad if you really push the brakes hard

Also getting decent pads would be a bonus... I believe the Skyline brake setup is far more superior than other "australia" sports cars.

Perhaps you could upgrade to better slotted rotors, try looking at the DBA5000 range.
